This blog features my own analysis & comment on public affairs. I neither hold nor assert any special brief to do this, apart from striving to maintain the progressive stance of a thinking Canadian. Many of the blog-posts focus on questions affecting Palestine. Others examine U.S. political and economic dictate in the world including the political opportunism of those who cringe before that dictate or try to subvert principled opposition with “liberal” subterfuges of various kinds. Interspersed among these bits are occasional 17-syllable comments — loosely labelled “haiku” because of their brevity (but otherwise claiming no real connection to the proper norms of the classical Japanese poetic discipline of the same name). Rather than provide anyone else with a megaphone in a cyberspace already overrun with such loudspeakers, the main purpose of this blog is to record my own acts of participation in finding things out. Occasionally there’s mention of URLs to other sites that existed at the time the blog was posted. Email separate from repsonding on this blog can reach me at: intangibles@aphenomenal.com
